「現地に赴く」教育プログラムの可能性と課題 : 静岡大学農学部「農業環境教育プロジェクト」を例に

大学教育において「フィールドワーク」を用いた教育プログラムが増加しているが，「現地に継続して赴く」という意味を十分に活かしているのかどうか，あるいはそこに生じる課題がどのようなものなのかなどの検証が，よりよい教育プログラムの改善に必要である。本稿では，静岡大学農学部の「農業環境教育プロジェクト」の事例研究からその可能性と課題を考察する。川喜田二郎の「野外科学」論を用いた分析によって，「現地に赴く」教育プログラムは，複雑な現実系から「仮説」を「発想」するというプロセスを組み込むことによって，大学における科学技術教育としても普遍的な教育プログラムになる可能性が示された。一方で，その人材育成の成果をどのような基準で評価するべきかという点や，具体的な問題解決につなげられるかどうかという点，プログラムを受け入れる「現地」側の負担の軽減という点などの課題も明らかになった。

In recent years, Japanese higher education increases education programs that employ 'fieldwork'. However there is little verification with the object of significance of fieldwork. In this study, we conducted an analysis of 'Education Program in Agricultural Environment' of the Faculty of Agriculture, Shizuoka University, from which we derived the following conclusions. First, education programs can ride on the strength of fieldwork when exercise for "abduction" from the perspective of 'field science' by Jiro Kawakita. Second, it's necessary to develop evaluation method of cultivation of human resources by education programs. Third, education programs that employ 'fieldwork' need to contribute social solutions of host community in the field. Lastly, the analysis conducted in this study suggests that these education programs have a great significance of cultivation of professional in higher education.
