Description | 新型コロナウィルス感染症(COVID-19)拡大により,大学等においてオンライン授業が導入され,オンラインに不慣れな教員への支援が行われている。国立大学や大規模私立大学の大学教育センター所属教員による研修や情報提供,またICT を得意とする教員による支援などである。本稿では,中規模大学の教育開発センターを事例として取り上げ,コロナ禍の教員支援を振り返り整理した。主な支援に情報提供や個別対応,動画教材提供がある。利用者数や資料の閲覧状況からある程度の成果が認められ,その要因として出向く形式のFD,他部署・関係者との連携などが挙げられる。また限定された対応数,必要とする資料が全て提供できていないなどの課題も明らかとなった。

Description Alternative | Due to the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, almost all universities have introduced online education. We need support for faculty members who are not familiar with online education. There has been some provision of training and information mainly by faculty members belonging to university education centers of national universities and large private universities, as well as support by faculty members who are proficient at ICT. In this paper, we examine the Center for Educational Development of a medium-sized university as a case study and review faculty development during the COVID-19 pandemic. Three activities have been identified: sharing information concerning the online education, individual responses to the needs and issues of faculty members, and the provision of video materials. The number of users and their access to the materials showed some success. As we have conducted personal consultation FD on each campus and collaborated with other office, these efforts have led to increasing the number of users and online access to the video materials. The limited number of responses and the inability to provide all required materials were identified as issues.
