The purposes of this study were to clarify the organizational culture of college sports club and to influence its affects the autonomy of an organization，allowing for the activation of organization. A questionnaire survey was conducted with members who were a captain or a specialist in the college sports club，then 150 usable questionnaires were obtained.
The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) The organizational culture was classified into four types by the axis of the organization view about cooperation and difference of behavioral norm and the axis of the sense of values over change and innovation. (2) The states of the activation of organization in college sports club which consist of four points that were precision of a goal and an object，smoothness of communication among members，innovativeness and creativity of the club management, and rule by the tradition and custom were different from four types. (3) The organizational culture of college sports club classified into four types were named type of "Steadiness and development"，type of "Tradition-bound way"，type of "Neo-club"， and type of "Affirmation of the status quo"，after taking the relationship with the autonomy and the activation of organization into consideration.
