日本語能力試験が台湾の高等日本語教育に与えた影響についての一考察

This work investigated how the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, which has been held continuously for over 20 years, affects the Higher Education of Taiwan. Particularly, the impact was discussed separately on “effects of Japanese Language Proficiency Test on courses of Japanese departments”, “available textbooks in Taiwan”,and “research papers discussing the effects and/or impact of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test”. The following observations were noticeable.
1. Since the last few years of the 20th century the Japanese Language Proficiency Test started impacting the Higher Education of Taiwan;
2. The impact of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test on Japanese education intensified with time in the present century.
3. It is expected that the impact of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test on Higher Education of Taiwan will keep growing. Further observation is needed to detail such an impact.
