多様な学生を受け入れる大学において,多岐に渡る範囲で学生の支援を担う学習支援者に対する能力開発の必要性が高まっている。本稿の目的は,2019 年8 月に実施した学習支援者を対象とする研修プログラムの試行を通して,学習支援者を対象とする省察による能力開発の可能性と方向性を探ることにある。研修は,(1)省察を通して学習支援者の活動・実践の振り返り,(2)所属大学の全学的な学習支援の把握・説明の2 部構成で実施した。参加者アンケートの結果等から,個人の活動・実践の省察による業務改善,所属大学の全学支援の理解促進,他大学参加者とのネットワークづくりとなったが,1 部と2 部のセッションの関連性等の今後の課題が得られた。

Universities and colleges that accept diverse students need professional development for learning-assistants who can take charge in various fields to support students. The purpose of this article is to examine the possibilities and directions of professional development for learning-assistants in a trial training program that was held in August 2019. In the training program, we had two sessions: (1) Clarify the activities and practices conducted by the learning-assistants according to their reflections, (2) Understand the learning-assistant programs in their own universities. The responses to questionnaire gave us vital information to improve their self-reflection, understand students’ support programs that universities provide, network with staff from other universities, and revealed the need to develop the two sessions into better programs for these assistants.
