Description
The objective of this study is to examine problems in agricultural marketing of domestic sweet potato called Naruto-Kintoki through exportation: case study in Tokushima Prefecture. The conclusions are as follows. First, total amount of Japan’s exportation of sweet potato have been increasing gradually for Asia, but Naruto-Kintoki isn’t as well. Second, all agricultural cooperatives in Tokushima have no plan to improve exportation because of domestic marketing. Third, it is possible to increase its exportation through other exporters. On the other hand, it's not well-organized and lack of stable supply system, so exportation doesn't grow. This study shows that whether to increase exports or for domestic market, all agricultural cooperatives in Tokushima should sell integratedly.
