Description
BEVI(The Beliefs, Events, and Values Inventory)でこの効果測定を行ったところ, グローバル人材の資質の中の「自身の文化や異文化に対する理解」の項目で, 改善すべき課題が明らかとなった。
Description Alternative
Research Center for Higher Education in Tokushima University has sent the students overseas every summer vacation to develop global human resources. However, due to Covid-19, in the summer vacation in 2020, the Center provided the students with the online study abroad program in collaboration with Southern Illinois University in the United States for four weeks. When the effect was measured by BEVI, the issues to be improved were clarified with respect to "understanding of own culture and different cultures" in the desirable qualities of global human resources. Therefore, during the 2021 summer vacation, based on the issues of the previous year, the Center conducted the online study abroad program by integrating the on-campus programs, such as the cross-cultural understanding course. As a result, the overall BEVI value was improved and there was a certain effect especially in the students with low BEVI scores.
