術前に診断し腹腔鏡下整復術を施行した左傍十二指腸ヘルニアの１例

A 15 - year old female was admitted to our hospital with upper abdominal pain three hour after symptom onset. Upper gastrointestinal fluoroscopy and an abdominal CT scan showed dilation of the jejunum in the left upper abdomen. The preoperative diagnosis was a left paraduodenal hernia with the absence of strangulation. So elective laparoscopic surgery was performed the following day. She had a good postoperative course and was discharged 4 days after surgery. Gastrointestinal fluoroscopy and an abdominal CT scan is considered to be an excellent diagnostic method for left paraduodenal hernia. This disease has a lower risk of intestinal resection due to necrosis and laparoscopic surgery is an efficient surgical treatment for this pathology.
