女性医師と生涯教育

In the medical situation that is undergoing substantial changes recently, people expect more from the increasing number of women doctors. Since, however, females have been facing sex and gender differences, a large number of women doctors have difficulties in continuing their jobs. Given such circumstances, I look forward to the future of women doctors and present proposals by Tokushima Medical Association ‘Josei Ishi-Bukai’ aiming at better working environments.
Currently, in Tokushima Prefecture, the continuance of each woman doctor’s work is solely based on her own efforts. I firmly believe that improving this situation leads to better labor conditions for men doctors as well. I look forward to the future of women doctors and present proposals by Tokushima Medical Association ‘Josei Ishi Bukai’ aiming at better working environments. I believe that we will create a gender-equal society in the near future. I wish all women doctors be able to continue their jobs.
