Urinalysis gives various information including the external observation, the qualitativeand quantitive examinations of chemicals, immunological examinations, microorganisminspections, and the morphological inspection with microscope etc.Urine examination and urinary sediment analysis are generally used for the screening ofthe diseases.The laboratory technician needs both knowledge and ability to keep high-quality data ofurinary sediment analysis.In order to standardize the data, it is necessary to collect urine properly and to handle itin accurate way. The term, the classification, and assessment of the sediment data shouldbe standardized between different facilities.Then, The useful information of urinary sediment analysis is addressed based on thestandard method.
