FD活動としての徳島大学教育カンファレンス : 教育的価値の視点による考察

本論では，高等教育における教育的価値について考察した。大学の教育理念に表明されて
いる教育的価値は，教育内容や教育方法も含めて大学内で行われるすべての活動を方向づける影
響力を持っている。年度末に実施されている教育カンファレンスで発表される研究内容は，大学
が教育を通じて重要視している教育的価値領域を示唆している。これまでの徳島大学教育カンフ
ァレンスでの発表内容から発表教員の多くが学生の独創性や体験による学習を重視しているこ
とが伺われた。大学での最初の２年間に学ぶ共通教育科目において，学生が学び方を学ぶことが
もっと強調されなければならない。

This article examines the educational values of higher education. Those values expressed in
the university’s mission statements drive our decision making about almost everything we do in the
university, including what we teach as well as how we teach. Education conference held at the end
of year can be a place the intended values of university education reveal themselves through the
contents of presented papers. The contents of Tokushima University education conference revealed
that many instructors valued student’s creativity and experience in their teaching. Students’ learning
how to learn should receive a central focus in general education during first couple years of university
life.
