| 抄録 | While various therapeutic modalities have been tried for atopic dermatitis(AD), numerous obstinate cases exist in which sufficient effects cannot be obtained. Therefore, we developed and prepared an ointment containing docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid as a topical therapeutics for AD. We applied this ointment to 64 patients with AD (aged between 2 months and 29 years) who showed poor responses to conventional therapies and obtained satisfactory results. This ointment is considered a new topical preparation for AD.
