徳島大学病院における緩和ケア

Palliative care center in Tokushima University Hospital was established in １９９７. Center has provided the service for the control of cancer total pain.
Palliative care team started operations in April, ２００５. The member of team is a doctor, and a nurse, a medical social worker, a clinical psychologist. The team is going rounds ward on the afternoon of Wednesday every week. The team is advising to the doctor for the control of cancer pain. After rounds, the conference has been held in the team.
The palliative care diagnosis and treatment addition was admitted in Japan in April, ２００２. It seems that palliative care is enhanced more by introducing addition. However the requirement for addition is severe. Especially, there is a problem such as securing of the doctor and the nurse of the work.
The introduction of the palliative care diagnosis and treatment addition is examined in Tokushima University Hospital. The condition for the addition acquisition is satisfactory. Palliative care in Tokushima University Hospital will be expected to be enhanced in the future.
